Bandleaders Leo Richardson and Greg Sinclair met whilst studying jazz at the prestigious Trinity Conservatoire of Music and Dance. Here they formed a strong friendship over a deep love of music, and it was from this love The Prototypes was born.

Tired of performing with bands who were simply going through the motions, both had a drive to create a band full of youthful, energetic performers that would deliver a show which audiences would never forget. Using their contacts from various tours and performances, they filled the band’s roster with session musicians who shared their passion for performance, and the band was created.

Since then The Prototypes have dazzled audiences at countless events worldwide, with over 10 years of experience putting on all manner of shows, they never fail to rise to the challenge.

Our musicians frequently tour with the worlds’ leading artists, and are no strangers to working a crowd.
